The Scarab Lab is an experimental line of sculptural and wearable art created by American designer Deanna Kennedy. Her work pays homage to the dung beetle’s resourceful lifestyle with trash-turned treasure, found objects, and hand-crafted textiles. It is in these artisanal practices of scavenging and creating with bare hands (and sometimes bare feet) that connect her to Earth as well as herself.
